Dr. Dang's late father struggled with tooth and bone loss until Dr. Dang, now a dentist, provided him with complete dentures. In Vietnam, Dr. Dang witnessed numerous family members suffering from dental issues due to a lack of quality care, prompting him to return and provide dental assistance.

His approach to Invisalign is superior to what I understand most dentists take – I changed my trays every 4 days, ate meals w the trays in, and corrected my bite in 8 months start to finish. No pain, no headaches and changing the trays that quickly prevented them from getting beaten up and stained (other than w Tumeric – take your trays out before eating Indian or you’ll have a yellow smile for a couple of days).After my dentition was corrected (Invisalign treatment completed), Dr Deng did a masterful job of patching the nicks, chips and tooth wear caused my my originally janky teeth – my smile is night & day different now! People I’d not seen for a while immediately notice & comment.I’m now on the recommended 6 months of a “forever retainer” to allow my corrected dentition to “set in place” after which I’ll wear the retainer trays only at night.I also previously had a crown put in at Optimal, and the work was head and shoulders above the previous crown I’d had done at a lesser dentist – not dentistry, but artistry.Solid 5 stars, no pressure, no guilt and no heavy upsell (you need night guards, teeth whitening, buy my $80 toothbrush, etc). Best dentist I’ve ever consulted, and the staff at Optimal are the friendliest most professional team that I’ve seen!
The staffs everyone is very nice. And I love how they updated you and help you with earlier time when it’s available. The office and work place is so new and clean.

This is the best dentist I’ve been to in the NOVA area yet! I’ve been coming here for several years and when I moved 35mins away, I still will only come here. They have great staff who are always friendly and willing to help make my appointments with them fit my schedule.
